(Dedicated to Chris Gore and Don Harmer) Rain Date is Sunday, April 3rd
This is an event which was previously sponsored by Chris and is one that is well attended by all British car enthusiasts.
Meet up at 8:00 AM: A group will caravan to Cleveland, meeting near the The North Point Mall at Starbucks/AMC Movie Theater parking lot.
For those who want to meet at the picnic location, be there by 10:30 am. The address is 1167 Mill Creek Trail, Cleveland, GA. 30528.
A note from the host of this year’s Mountain Tour: “Our home is located in a development which has twisty, hilly, paved, private roads. It will be tempting, but we ask that you obey the 25 mph speed limit. We have many walkers, bikers, deer, and a few dogs we must keep in mind.”
All attendees, please bring your best picnic lunch and drinks for yourself and a lawn blanket or chairs. We will start off with lunch on the front lawn. This allows everyone to stretch and have a guaranteed bathroom.
After lunch there will be a brief driver’s meeting before the 1:30 tour. The drive will last about one hour starting and ending at 1167 Mill Creek Trail. The cars will be sent out in 3 groups - fast, medium, and slow.

Wow! We are off to a fantastic start this year! Renewals for 2016 have come flooding in and we got the party started with a hilarious event at Sam and Ginger’s house. Who knew that we had so much useless talent within the ranks of our SEMGTR members!
Speaking of “getting the party started,” the board has recently voted to grant “Lifetime” membership status to some of our original founding members. We thank Gary & Pam McGovern, Jerry Heard, John & Suzanne Jankuski, and David & Carolyn Ariail for helping to build the foundation for the SEMGTR all those years ago.
I’d like to welcome some new members to the club. Glenn and Daileen Cleveland were brave enough to join us at the "Its Too Cold To Drive Party" and they seemed crazy enough to fit right in. We look forward to eventually seeing their white TD at events, but during restoration, we encourage them to join us in their Mini. We haven’t met Everett McCoy and his wife Minh Tam Nguyen yet, but we hope to get to know them and their green TD at the next event.
For the few who haven’t renewed, this will be your last mgTalk. If it’s just slipped your mind, here’s the online renewal link: https://form.jotform.com/50427468270153
We’ll be adding a Member’s Only area to our club website which will include a Member Directory with each member’s name, email, phone, and car type. If you would like to opt out of this listing, please email me by March 5th at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Exciting things are afoot!
See you in March... Beth
For those who missed "Peace, Love, and MG," the event was attended by Lawrence Sanata from Classic MG Magazine. Throughout the event, he and his wife chatted with guests and took pictures of the cars and festivities. The articles will be showing up in Classic MG Magazine over the course of the year. He has graciously provided us with a digital edition of the December magazine to share with our members. I think you'll see a few familiar faces starting on page 16.
